Donna Terrell’s Yoga Warriors
About Yoga Warriors Fighting Cancer
Founded by Fox 16 News Anchor Donna Terrell, Yoga Warriors Fighting Cancer (Yoga Warriors) was created in 2014—three years after Donna lost her daughter, Queah (pronounced Quay-ah), to colon cancer.
During her treatment, Queah found peace, strength, and relief through yoga. As her caregiver, Donna also witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact of having access to free lodging while traveling for Queah’s care. These powerful experiences inspired her to create Yoga Warriors—to provide comfort, resources, and hope to other cancer survivors and their families.
Yoga Warriors offers: Free yoga scholarships for patients, survivors, and caregivers and nutritional supplements to promote healing during treatment. For Yoga Scholarship information call 870-541-3225
Warrior Lodge at Jefferson Regional
Warrior Lodge at Jefferson Regional is officially open — a milestone that represents hope, compassion, and a community coming together in a powerful way. What began as a hopeful conversation in 2023 is now reality.
We celebrated this special occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming supporters, partners, and community members who helped bring this vision to life.
Guests toured the lodge and learned more about our mission, seeing firsthand the welcoming space designed to provide comfort, rest, and support for Warriors facing a cancer diagnosis. From peaceful guest rooms to shared gathering spaces, every detail of Warrior Lodge was created with our cancer guests and their families in mind.
We are deeply grateful to our donors for making Warrior Lodge possible through both monetary and in-kind contributions.
We look forward to providing hope and relief to people traveling for cancer treatment and helping ensure that no Warrior fights alone.
